The 1757 Legacy Fellowship of the Congregational Church Of Brookfield
Our Church was founded in 1757 by the Reverend Thomas Brooks and early settlers who bequeathed to us a legacy we honor and enjoy to this day: to leave behind the means by which our beliefs and values may prosper for generations to come.
Regardless of the size of the gift, as bequests and gifts are received...
* the donor is inscribed into our Legacy Fellowship Register and
* the members are honored and celebrated at a Book of Remembrance Service
“It makes us so very happy to think that our modest bequest will help the health of our beloved Church sometime in the future when it could be needed.”
“When my attorney was helping me prepare my will, she asked if there was anything else I wanted to add. I immediately thought of my church and what it has meant to me, so we added a bequest that will be part of the funds that keep it strong. It makes me smile to think about it.”
As a congregation, we have been the recipients of bequests from past donors.
These gifts help enable CCB’s vital ministries and missions to continue. For more information on Legacy Giving, please call the Church Office, (203) 775-1259.
